Dr. Naeem Zafar Guest Speaker Session

September 05, 2023, Dr. Asma Hydr - Professor and Dean School of Economics and Social Sciences invited Dr. Naeem Zafar - the Chief Statistician of the Government of Pakistan and an IBA Alumnus. Mr. Zafar has been recognized with the prestigious Sitara-e-Imtiaz, a testament to his exemplary contributions in the field of statistics.

Dr. Naeem shares his expertise on the Economics of Census, the rich history of census-taking, and the exciting prospects of digitalizing population data.

The session was followed by Q&A with the Students which led to some very insightful chat in the room.
